A total of 95 percent of Japan’s olive oil – yes, you read that correctly – is produced in the Kagawa region of Shikoku Island. For two days in January, you can taste, buy and learn about the seven different Kagawa olive oils at Roppongi Hills. There are more than just pure olive oil, though: you’ll also find olives, olive leaf tea, olive oil-based cosmetics and soaps. The on-site cafe will serve an exclusive menu inspired by olive and olive oil as well as the cuisine of Kagawa including sanuki udon and Kagawa sake.
