The Kimpton Hotel in Shinjuku is ringing in the 2024 new year with a countdown party held on the 17th-floor loft, which has a good view of the city skyline. The event features plenty of live performances alongside an all-you-can-eat hors d'oeuvre buffet.
It’s set to be a lively evening with DJ Izumi on the decks. There’s also a spectacular drag show by local queens Undine, Tsubako Uzushio, Dita Starmine and Prism.
The ¥5,000 entry (excluding 15 percent service fee) also comes with a complimentary drink as well as a bowl of toshikoshi soba (‘year-crossing soba’).
