Time Out says

Organised by the Koumi Suomi Society, an organisation established to promote cultural exchange between Finland and Japan, this early-summer special has been held annually since 1994 at the Koumi Finland Village, a picturesque spot out in the Nagano wilderness next to Lake Matsubara. Head over in June for a day of Finnish food and drink, candle-making workshops and kantele (a traditional Finnish instrument) classes, plus a spectacular bonfire lighting up the night sky.
