Local Ice Cream Fair at Kotsu Kaikan

'Antenna shops' representing ten of Japan's regions – including Hokkaido, Osaka and Wakayama – get together for ten days of ice cream-centred fun at Yurakucho's Kotsu Kaikan (aka Tokyo Traffic Hall). Visit at any time during the hall's opening hours to sample frozen treats such as Shizuoka's 'new' summer orange sorbet, milk ice cream from Awaji Island and lotus root gelato from Tokushima prefecture, and vote for your favourite in the three categories of flavour, uniqueness and appearance. Winners will be announced at the end of the last day.
