Natto Festa

Some people love it, others can't get far enough away from the stuff. If the sight of a tub of stringy, stinky natto doesn't make you gag, you might be tempted by this mini-festival in Yoyogi Park, where dealers from Akita and Ibaraki prefectures – both known as real natto hot spots – peddle their wares and serve up, uh, treats like natto miso soup, natto crackers and classic natto over rice.
