New Year's Countdown at Hanayashiki

Asakusa's charmingly old-school Hanayashiki amusement park celebrates the New Year with this annual event that sees eight rides accessible for a flat ¥3,000 between 8pm and 1am. For an additional ¥2,000, you can bundle up indoors and watch a live comedy show counting down the last hour of 2019 – although the show is entirely in Japanese.
