Okinawa Mensore Festa 2015

The street between Ikebukuro Station and Sunshine City gets a distinctly Okinawan flavour during this one-day event featuring traditional eisa dancing and other colourful performances from Japan's southernmost prefecture. In addition, you'll find plenty of food stalls selling treats like Okinawan soba and sata andagi doughnuts inside the Sunshine City complex, while the outdoor plaza hosts a beer garden serving Orion brew and island edibles. The Sunshine Aquarium will also hold Okinawa-themed events. Except for the street performances, the Mensore Festa continues until June 7 (11am-8.30pm daily).
