Tokyo's hipsters have fallen hard for Portland's trendy charms, with scores of businesses originating in or inspired by the Rose City opening across the metropolis over the past couple of years. If Kinfolk is your bible and Third Wave coffee your daily sustenance, you'll love this weekend pop-up collection featuring seven Portland-born brands, ranging from bag makers Orox Leather to pet paraphernalia specialists Cycle Dog. Exhibiting and selling their latest wares, representatives of each brand will be on hand to answer shoppers' questions and explain why their stuff is so hot right now. The second edition of Pop Up Portland also features talks with the likes of business development specialist Mitsu Yamazaki and Paddlers Coffee's Daisuke Matsushima, plus a food market and a photo exhibition themed on Kinfolk covers.
