The worlds of hardcore anime fandom and club music seldom drift close together, but if you stumble over to Kabukicho you'll be able to witness a rare meeting between the two. There'll be over a dozen DJs spinning in the course of Re:animation, an open-air party held opposite the old Koma Theater complex, and the organisers are keen to stress that they won't just playing be anisongs. Although you can expected plenty of those, too – doubtless with coordinated dance moves, etc. etc. The first Re:animation back in December last year drew 813 people (that's one thing we love about otaku: attention to detail), but if the weather's good there should be a lot more than that this time around.
