Time Out says

If your idea of fun involves a lot of destruction, this unique form of entertainment might be right up your alley. Apparently the idea originated back in 2008 when an American entrepreneur converted her garage into an ‘anger room’ where people could smash and destroy things to their heart’s content.

To be on the safe side, this Asakusa venue provides copious safety equipment for customers including helmets, jumpsuits and gloves, and offers them an opportunity to smash all sorts of things – think tableware, empty vases, microwaves, home printers and more – with bats or by hurling them to the floor. Destruction courses range from ¥3,980 to ¥11,390 depending on the type and number of items you want to smash. You can also bring your own items to break for ¥250 per 1kg, or exchange them for one of Reeast Room’s ready-to-smash appliances.

Reeast Room also has Japan’s first axe throwing room, where you’ll get to chuck an axe across the room to hit the bullseye target on the wall. For an additional cost, you can throw shuriken, knives or cards instead. A 30-minute session is ¥2,480 and three full hours will cost you ¥6,980. Advance reservations are recommended for the destruction and axe throwing, both of which you can book online.

Finish off the day with something more calming and do some graffiti on the walls of the Free Art Wall room. For ¥3,000, you get a protective raincoat and a chance to paint and draw all you want, but you'll get a ¥1,000 discount if you combine it with another Reeast Room activity. The blacklight in the room makes all the artwork pop like neon lights.
