Time Out says

This eclectic venue is a letterpress print shop during the day and a standing bar by night.

Rhythm and Press in Sumida creates all kinds of prints including postcards, coasters and tags, using a Heidelberg Platen printing press from Germany – ask a print enthusiast and they’ll tell you a machine like that is rare to find in Japan nowadays. Business cards are one of the most popular items here and you can order via an online form (Japanese only), or you can order in person in the store.

After the sun sets around 5pm, the entire store turns into a bar serving beer, wine, sour, whisky and sake for an affordable price of ¥400 to ¥650 per glass. Snacks like fries (¥350), edamame (¥200) and pickles (¥450) are available, as well as full meals like Napolitan pasta (¥550) and curry rice (¥650).
