Time Out says

Enjoy a pint in the sea breeze and take in the nighttime views of Tokyo Bay aboard a literal ship this summer at Sal-Beer, a beer garden on top of a ship docked off Takeshiba Passenger Ship Terminal. From July 17 to August 30, you can enjoy all-you-can-drink beverages such as draft beer, tea cocktails, jasmine highballs, lemon sours and soft drinks on the ship’s open-air deck for just ¥2,200.

While the deck offers the liveliest atmosphere and the best views, it has no seating, and only finger food made with salt from Tokyo’s islands is available (for a separate fee). If you’d rather enjoy a bento meal and beverages from the comfort of a seat, opt for the ‘Restaurant Plan’ (¥5,500). This package includes a table in an air-conditioned dining room, with each table accommodating up to four people. Reservations are available for parties of two or more, making it ideal for families and date nights.

Dust off your yukata this year and experience a memorable summer evening with uninterrupted views of the Rainbow Bridge.

Reservations are essential and can be made up to three days prior via phone or the official website.
