Time Out says

The annual moon-viewing event Kangetsukai at Yokohama Sankeien Garden is returning this September to coincide with the garden's Mid-Autumn Festival. This sprawling park is designated a National Place of Scenic Beauty by the Agency for Cultural Affairs.

Happening from September 25 to September 29, the event will feature free performances of traditional musical instruments such as satsuma biwa (September 25, 6.15pm-8pm), gagaku (Sep 26 6pm-8pm), koto (September 29, 6pm-8pm) and more at the newly renovated Rinshunkaku villa.

Time your visit to coincide with the full moon on September 27 for the best views.

The event is free but you'll need a park admission ticket (¥900). For more details and schedules, check the event website.
