Shibuya Oktoberfest

Nope, this isn't the oompah-accompanied, unseasonal beer bash you're looking for – Shibuya's version of Oktoberfest actually takes place from September to October and sees around 30 bars around the area join hands for a 'stamp rally' promotion. Pick up a map at the Tokyu Department Store's info counter, tour the watering holes and order the special 'event menu' pairings of beer and grub. One stamp is awarded for each joint you visit, while every three stamps gives you one chance to win fancy prizes in a raffle. The area's much-hyped but somewhat crafty Shibuya Beer will also be on sale at the bars.
