Shibuya Stream

One of the most significant pieces in the monstrous puzzle that is the ongoing Shibuya redevelopment effort is Shibuya Stream which opened this past summer. The spacious facility was created in hopes to rejuvenate the Shibuya riverside, while offering a new venue for people to relax and dine in the heart of one of Tokyo's buzziest neighbourhoods.

Set along a section of the Shibuya River just a few minutes' walk from Shibuya Station, the new complex is home to a wealth of restaurants and cafés, as well as a hotel, event hall and new office spaces. You find the impressive 'Spanish steps' right at the entrance, while the eateries along the ground floor feature spacious indoor and outdoor seating.
