The Bon Odori festival at the hip Tokyo neighbourhood Shimokitazawa is returning after a four-year break. At around Shimokitazawa Station you’ll find over two dozen stalls offering crowd-pleasing street food like taco rice, karaage fried chicken, hamburgers, yakisoba noodles and crepe. Additionally, there are also workshops for children on how to make plushies and keychains.
The stalls open at 3pm, but the Bon Odori festivities run from 4pm to 8pm on August 5 and 6.
