Opened for traffic in March 2014, this avenue between Toranomon Hills and Shinbashi is supposed to become one of central Tokyo's main thoroughfares in time for the 2020 Olympics, connecting the Olympic Village in Harumi with sports venues across the city. Until then, it's just another street – albeit a wider and nicer-looking one than most other Tokyo roads.
