Time Out says

Enjoy the natural beauty of the Tama River at this walking event, which takes place along the paved 50-kilometre course built on the banks of the waterway. The organizers expect this year's edition to be bigger than last year's, which also attracted over 8,000 participants and spectators. The longest course starts at the statue of the Tamagawa brothers in Hamura, and reaches a respectable 48 kilometres to the Gas Bridge Park in Ota Ward. There are four shorter courses available as well (starting in Tachikawa, Chofu, Setagaya, and Ota), and no advance registration is required for participation.
