Time Out says

Ready to test your body to the limit? The Spartan Race is sure to tire you out with its multiple obstacles that you have to get through to reach the finish line.

If it’s your first time, sign up for the 5km sprint race. This event has 20 obstacles to clear such as climbing over walls, crawling through mud and carrying a bucket full of rocks. Those feeling confident in their strength can sign up for the 10km super race, which has an additional five obstacles. There’s also Japan’s first night time sprint on March 26. Younger children (14 and under) can take part in the kids' race, which is a much shorter course of around one to three kilometres depending on the age.

Tickets range from ¥11,000 to ¥16,000 for the sprint course depending on the time. The super course, meanwhile, ranges from ¥16,000 to ¥20,000 depending on whether you want to join a competitive race or not. The kids' race is a fixed rate of ¥4,000 no matter what age. You can purchase your tickets now via the website.
