Formerly held on Odaiba in September, the Sri Lanka Festival is now trying to attract the summer crowds with this August date in much more central Yoyogi Park. As befits a nationally-themed festival, they'll be wooing the crowds with traditional Channa Upuli dancing, music and stalls selling spicy grub, Ceylon tea, handicrafts, Ayurvedic treatments and more besides. Who knows, you might even find a hopper (appam) or two.
