Super Oktoberfest in Tokyo Dome 2013

Time Out says

Why let pesky considerations like, say, the time of year get in the way of a good beer festival? Such is Japan's approach to the Oktoberfest: while residents of Munich have to wait until autumn for their infamous beer-fuelled bacchanale, here in Tokyo we can enjoy it almost year-round. By far the biggest of the homegrown Oktoberfests comes not long before Christmas, when the expanses of Tokyo Dome are transformed into an enormous beer hall (up to 20,000 seats!), complete with authentic suds (from Spaten, Hofbräu and Flensburger, among others), Germanic grub and oom-pah music – plus appearances from techno DJ Takkyu Ishino (Friday only) and Die Hofbräuhaus-show, the official band of Munich's famed Hofbräuhaus. 'Super' indeed.
