Time Out says

Housai Matsubayashi, the 16th generation head of Asahiyaki, and graphic artist Shun Kawakami showcase their craftsmanship in the form of a traditional tea ceremony. This gathering for both tea lovers and art enthusiasts fuses contemporary art with Asahi ware from Uji, Kyoto.

Matsubarashi and Kawakami combine their respective arts to create an aesthetic based on the concept of ‘beautiful loneliness’. Witness the synthesis of traditional Japanese crafts and contemporary art while tasting different teas such as sencha and matcha along with Japanese sweets to accompany your beverages.
