The Newoman complex at Shinjuku Station is now home to a bespoke rooftop terrace opened in October 2025 where guests can enjoy BBQ and a selection of Mediterranean-inspired à la carte dishes, all while taking in sweeping urban views of Shinjuku, Shibuya and beyond.
You can opt for the two-hour BBQ plan (¥6,500) which offers meat grilled at your table, vegetables to cook with the beef and appetisers like pita bread, hummus, olives, skordalia, truffle cheese fries and greek salad. The drink menu is equally extensive with 120 minutes of free-flow wine, draft beer, highballs, mix-your-own cocktails and spritzes, botanical beverages and more. A non-alcoholic plan is also available (for ¥5,000).
DJs take over the decks on Friday and weekend evenings, adding a laid-back, almost Balearic atmosphere to the rooftop setting.
