Time Out says

NOTE: If there are less than four participants (sign up by the evening of Tue Apr 10), the event will be cancelled

Part of our very own Time Out Love Tokyo Lounge pop-up at KITTE's Tokyo City i, we'll be hosting a proper ikebana (flower arrangement) workshop. Geared at both foreign residents and travellers alike, it's a quick introduction to a specific slice of traditional Japanese culture. For that, we've called in the help of Kinka Ikenobo ikebana school vice-master Daiju Kato and teacher Kisyu Kobayashi, who will be teaching the basic 'chokuritsutai' style, plus 'freestyle' ikebana for you to take home. You'll get to use fresh flowers, brought in from the flower markets frequented by pros in the business. And don't worry about any language barriers: Time Out Tokyo staff will be on hand to interpret between Japanese and English.

To apply, get your hands on a ticket through Peatix, and if you have any queries, shoot us an email at info@timeout.jp.

- Max 8 participants

- Please bring a bag or any other item to carry your ikebana piece home with
