As the first Disney park built outside of the United States, Tokyo Disneyland will be celebrating its 40th anniversary next year. To commemorate the occasion, Disney fans can trace the four decades of history through a special exhibition at Ikspiari shopping mall, which is located right next to Tokyo Disney Resort.
The exhibition focuses on 12 of the most iconic shows and seasonal events that have been held over the past 40 years at Tokyo Disneyland as well as DisneySea, which opened in 2001. You’ll be able to admire 60 costumes from up close, and revisit the past shows and parades through videos and music.
There’s also a souvenir shop selling everything from T-shirts and tote bags to badges and mini towels.
Tickets are currently available for November time slots and have to be purchased online in advance.
An end date for this exhibition has not been announced yet.
