Tokyo’s Prince Hotel is hosting its own Sakura Festival this spring, where you can enjoy cherry blossoms and views of Tokyo Tower from the open-air terrace – even if you’re not a guest of the hotel. Many of the hotel's restaurants are also offering menus featuring sakura-themed dishes. There are also special items for takeaway, including a special ohanami bento box (¥7,000), while hotel restaurants like Porto Buffet are offering an all-you-can-eat sakura dinner buffet for just ¥4,300.
A major highlight of the festival is the outdoor barbecue space at the hotel's Garden Islands Beer Restaurant. The restaurant is the perfect spot to set up a springtime barbecue under the blossoming sakura trees. Barbecues can be booked (from ¥8,000), with the cherry blossoms illuminated at night.
