Summer is just around the corner but the ocean is far away from central Tokyo. For those wanting to experience the beach life without leaving the conveniences of the big city, Lumine Est is once again turning a part of Shinjuku into a beach-themed beer garden this year.
The cheerful venue features bright pops of yellow and is divided into three separate areas, one each for desserts, grilled meats and imported beer. Ranging in price from ¥1,000 per person for the dessert-café plan to the ¥5,500 full-on barbecue course, the ‘happy yellow beach’ beer garden caters to different budgets and appetites.
