Head over to Tokyo Skytree during the first three days of August to enjoy this fun summer festival, taking place at the Solamachi Hiroba and Sky Arena. You’ll find food stalls selling typical festival grub such as kakigori (shaved ice desserts) and yakisoba (fried noodles). Kids will love the various festival games, including the ones where they get to scoop for little toys.
The food and game stalls are open daily from 12noon to 9pm. Come evening, change into your yukata and join the crowd for the free Bon Odori dance sessions between 6pm and 8pm.
