Take a tour of Japan’s different prefectures at this event hosted by Tokyo Tokyo, the Tokyo Metropolitan Government and Tokyo Industry Attractiveness Executive Committee. The event sees over a dozen booths spread across the first floor of the Tokyo Media Center, where you’ll get to see some of the best food, tech and traditional crafts from all over the country.
The centre of the room features a market stocked with products from all 47 prefectures, ranging from potato chips, craft beer and instant ramen noodles to handicrafts and flowers, which are all available for purchase.
Surrounding it are booths where you can see demonstrations of Japanese craftsmanship including the art of making traditional Edo dolls, the creation of Japanese swords and even the latest VR technology. There will also be several information booths to educate you on topics like Japanese sake and Tohoku disaster relief.
The Tokyo Tokyo All Japan Collection is only on until September 5, ending on the same day as the Tokyo 2020 Paralympics. It’s free to enter but capacity is limited to 600 people at a time.
