Want to see something truly special? Stop by the base of Tokyo Tower this October, when it will be lit with hundreds of candles for three days, from October 23 to October 25.
Along with the light-up, Tokyo Tower Candle Days will feature live music, traditional Japanese performing arts and celebrity panels. There will also be an awards ceremony to crown the top candle artist, with participants creating candles on-site before showcasing their creations in a display competition. Furthermore, you can also partake in workshops including candle-making and crafting candle holders. While you’re there, check out the pop-up market for candles and other fun trinkets.
