Tokyo Tower First Sunrise

Tokyo Tower provides visitors with a special chance to watch the first sunrise of the new year from the 250-metre vantage point of the Special Observatory. In total, only 80 people will be admitted, so be prepared to arrive early - waiting tickets will be issued from 4am. Those unwilling to queue for hours will be happy to hear that there won't be any admittance limits for the Main Observatory, which also provides rather impressive views. In addition, if you'd like a free commemorative medal, you'll have to be among the first 2014 visitors on the day.
