Time Out says

Last year, Transgender Japan organised Tokyo’s first ever Trans March at Shinjuku Central Park, where roughly 500 people assembled to raise awareness for the LGBTQ+ community. After successfully raising ¥2 million in funds through crowdfunding, Tokyo Trans March is set to return for a second stint on November 12 2022, with plans for an even bigger event this year.

The march is completely free and is open to anyone who wants to join and support the transgender community. Exhibitor booths will open at the Shinjuku Central Park Water Plaza at 10am on the day, along with the main stage where a number of guest speakers are scheduled to appear between 10am and 1pm. This is also where the march will kick off at 2pm, so you should aim to be at the venue by 1.30pm if you want to participate in the walk.

There are two afterparties that are scheduled to be held a week after the event to observe Transgender Day of Remembrance. The first party will be at Shinjuku Nichome's Aisotope Lounge from 11am to 3.30pm on November 20. At 5pm, the party will move to The 27 Club and continue until 10pm. Admission for each event is ¥1,500 at the door, but those who contributed to crowdfunding for the march can enter for free.
