Toshimaen Night Pool

The good old Toshimaen amusement park up in Nerima turns spectacular every summer with the opening of Hydropolis, a waterpark that includes a surf pool, a lazy river, two wave pools and a very elaborate set of waterslides. There's also an olympic sized pool with a set of three professional diving boards for more determined swimmers, as well as a selection of more peaceful pools for the kiddies. Extending its opening hours until 9pm on high-summer weekends and two days during the Obon holiday period, the facility will be staying open after dark for the first time in 30 years (!). And as expected, beer and cocktails will also be on sale throughout.
