Toyosu Park is hosting a series of outdoor activities over the weekend of March 25 and 26. On Saturday, you can learn how to play the Swedish lawn game kubb for free from 11am to 4pm. In this game, you have to knock over your opponent’s wooden blocks by tossing another wooden block.
There will also be plenty of games for children in which the aim is to raise awareness of nature. These activities take place on Saturday from 10.30am to 12pm and 1.30pm to 3pm, with places limited to 15 people per session. To take part, you need to register in advance via email (event@toyosugururi.jp, Japanese only).
On Sunday, children can participate in workshops and watch live performances to learn about traffic safety from 11am to 4pm. You can even rent fishing gear to try your luck luring the fish of Tokyo Bay. There will also be food stalls and live music performances.
