Classic Tiki bar and restaurant Trader Vic’s is offering an all-you-can-eat feast of its popular spare ribs and roast beef during Halloween season. The buffet menu features an assortment of appetisers including spinach and artichoke dip, cajun spiced fish fritters and steamed dim sum, plus cold plates like roasted pumpkin salad and shrimp cocktail.
Aside from the ribs and beef, main dishes include Malaysian-style pan fried chicken, cottage pie, Mediterranean mackerel and even a custom, made-to-order pasta station. The choices of savoury meals can be overwhelming, but don’t forget about its dessert section. You can get a taste of Hotel New Otani’s famed strawberry shortcake, mont blanc and opera cake, as well as tropical desserts like passion fruit creme brulee and mango sherbert.
The buffet costs ¥7,500 per person (¥3,900 for children) and an additional ¥500 will get you one of the bar’s three exclusive Halloween-themed cocktails. You can also opt to get free flow sparkling wine for an additional ¥1,000.
On October 31, there's a special Halloween DJ night (for a slightly higher price) featuring an upgraded buffet menu and spooky tunes.
