Originating in London, this light-hearted event encourages participants to ride through their city on vintage bicycles while sporting classic tweed attire. In addition to the fun, the idea is to encourage cycling culture and road safety. This year's route starts and ends at Meiji Jingu Gaien, where you can also look forward to a tea party and an awards ceremony for the best dressers, after which the action moves to an official afterparty. Registration for Tweed Run is open until September 15 – sign up here (in Japanese only).
