Patchwork quilts meet Japan at this exhibition at the Hotel Gajoen Tokyo. The tradition of quilting and patchwork is said to have been born in Europe and matured in the US, but Japan apparently has a good three million quilt lovers too. For this edition, the theme is 'Japan-modern', with a eclectic yet beautiful collection of Japan-inspired quilts made by famous writers and competition winners on display, plus some public faves. If all those quilts get you into the sewing mood, they also offer workshops, and some handmade items are set to be for sale too.
