Time Out says

Kitte Marunouchi’s atrium is a winter wonderland this year with a massive 12-metre-tall fir tree at its centre. The display has a winter forest theme, with the white Christmas tree surrounded by nine smaller trees. These trees are either fir trees from Nagano prefecture’s Tsumagoi village or thinned wood from Hinohara village in west Tokyo.

Look up and you’ll also spot countless snowflake-shaped ornaments that resemble falling snow. There’s a snow dome-shaped photo spot next to the tree, too, measuring three metres in diameter.

Don’t miss the ‘forest orchestra’ light show, which is synchronised to traditional Christmas songs such as ‘Silent Night’, ‘Jingle Bells’ and ‘We Wish You a Merry Christmas’ as well as original songs composed exclusively for the event. The three-minute show takes place every 30 minutes between 12.10pm and 5.40pm, and every 20 minutes between 6.10pm and 9.50pm. See here for the playlist and schedule.

You can see the tree inside the Kitte shopping centre daily from 6am to 12.30am.
