Time Out says

This eye-opening exhibition features some of the most impactful, newsworthy images captured by leading photojournalists from around the world. This year, the World Press Contest received a staggering 78,801 entries from 4,738 photographers. The images are deeply moving and often shocking, encapsulating some of the most harrowing moments of global events that made headlines in recent years. While the photographs are visually powerful, equally profound are the stories behind them. From an all-female anti-poaching unit ranger in Zimbabwe to a Honduran toddler being taken into custody at the US border, this year’s nominees will give you the opportunity to connect with people and stories that you would have otherwise never known.
