Time Out says

This large-scale nighttime event takes place on two Saturdays in December at different locations in Yokohama’s Minatomirai area. Between 5pm and 12midnight on December 4 and 11, you can admire Yokohama’s beautiful illumination displays, listen to live music, go on a cruise and more. If you pick up the event pamphlet from one of the participating venues on the day, you can enjoy discounted or free entry at most of the events.

On the first floor of Yokohama Landmark Tower, for example, you can listen to free live music performances, including J-Pop singer Mai Fukui (December 4 from 7pm) and R&B singer Aimi (December 11 from 7pm). J-Pop fans can also head over to the Chinatown 80 Hall for a live performance by Japanese boy band Banquet from 3pm and 6pm on December 11.

If you’re looking for something more chill, then drop by Intercontinental Yokohama Grand on December 11 at 6pm, 7pm and 8pm to enjoy free performances by saxophonist Kensuke Nakamura. You could also go on board the Marine Rouge sightseeing cruise on December 11 from 9.45pm to enjoy tunes by singer Itsuka and songwriter and composer Katsuhiko Yamamoto. For more music-related events over the two days, see the full schedule (in Japanese only).

You can ride the Sea Bass shuttle boat for free and enjoy Yokohama’s illuminations and night scenery from the water. The boat departs from the terminal at Yokohama Bay Quarter at 7.30pm and 9pm on both days.
