Zenkoku Kaden Kaikan might appear to be a drab meeting hall used for presentations and town meetings, however, twice a year the room turns into a cat emporium, thanks to the biannual Yushima Cat Festival. Local craft makers take over and sell cat-themed goods, for felines and for humans.
