2016 Toronto Timeraiser says
Bid time on art and support great causes.

Timeraiser, Toronto’s annual art auction party, returns once again to the beautiful Power Plant Contemporary Gallery on Saturday, May 28.

Timeraiser is an art auction, and an art party (featuring Toronto's hottest emerging artists & DJs). Rather than bid money on artwork, participants bid volunteer hours. Winning bidders have 12 months to complete their pledge in order to bring the artwork home. Corporate sponsors allow Timeraiser the ability to pay local artists market value for their work and young professionals giveback in their community in exchange for artwork (so it's a win for all). The event is completely volunteer-driven.

For its 13th year, the crew at Framework has assembled some of Canada’s greatest emerging contemporary artists for another wild evening of art and social good.

This is your chance to start the art collection you’ve always dreamed of and help support great causes.

For the gorgeous and uninitiated:

Bid volunteer hours on one of the 40 contemporary art pieces up for auction. Winners have up to one year to fulfill their commitment with a non-profit organization of their choosing. Don't know where to put those hours to good use? Over 15 non-profits will be hanging out with us all night—discuss their missions over a glass (or two) of wine.

After the auction is complete, the Power Plant will be transformed into another one of our infamous dance parties. Ass shaking guaranteed: exhibit your gloriously fine self in the gallery spaces with music provided by the one and only DJ James Redi.

Did we forget to mention the food trucks we’ll have stationed on the patio? Come hungry for some tasty eats.

Doors — 8:00 pm
Bidding begins — 8:30 pm
Dancing takes over — 10:00 pm

Tickets are $30 with food (yay food trucks) and 2 drinks (yay drinks). Limited capacity.

See y’all there.
