Archi Textures ~ Light W/ D Js Hali / Sextone / Michael Simla / Vj Jacpot says
This month at Light we’ve got a stellar line up of house and techno music for your dancing pleasure, full of surprises and rump shakin’. VERY excited about March ☺

Surprise – he’s back! A Toronto favorite for years, Hali has spent the last few in Berlin throwing events, playing to packed dance floors and all sorts of other goodness. We’ve got the good fortune of catching him in Toronto the day after he arrives back in Toronto for a quick visit – and he’s hyped! Just a few of his highlights from the last 20 years include legendary marathon sets at Harvest Festival, the infamous Box of Kittens parties, web radio station Netmusique, the Boys and Girls stage at the 2002 Om Festival and so much more (we could go on and on), Hali is best known for rocking the dance floor like no one else. Get ready!
Check out a recent set of his recorded live in Berlin here:

Heavily influenced by house and techno from Detroit, Bob Sexton has been mixing vinyl for years in and around Toronto, but it’s been a while since he’s played to a crowd – he’s been just a little preoccupied…with twins! We’re super happy to welcome him back to Architextures so he can drop some of his ultra-fine, unheard gems ☺

Michael Simla is one of those djs you hear and go ‘who is that?! I can’t stop moving!’. A well-seasoned veteran with house and techno music, Michael might just be one of Toronto’s best kept secrets. We’re really looking forward to another solid Architextures debut from a real solid dj.
