Bad Luck Tribute To Social Distortion, Live At The Linsmore Tavern For Punk Rock Month! says
Friday June 10th, the Linsmore Tavern is so excited to welcome BadLuck Tribute to Social Distortion for the very first time for Punk Rock Month at the Linsmore! BadLuck has quite a following similar to punk rock godfathers, Social Distortion, so the fit is natural for them to be performing during Punk Rock Month at the Linsmore Tavern! Punk Rock fans, Social Distortion fans, this is a dream night for you as BadLuck will definitely deliver the goods and will impress you with their note for note precision!

Social Distortion is an American punk rock band formed in 1978 in Fullerton, California. Since its inception, the band lineup has been a virtual revolving-door of talent with many members coming and going – Lead Singer and Lead Guitarist Mike Ness has been the only constant member. After 38 years of performing, Social Distortion continues to tour and record music. Social Distortion rose to fame with their 1990 self-titled third album, which produced their well-known hit singles "Ball and Chain", "Story of My Life", and the cover of Johnny Cash's "Ring of Fire", and was certified gold by RIAA.[5] Many of their later albums, including their second gold record[5]Somewhere Between Heaven and Hell (1992), were also well received. They are considered one of the best-selling punk rock bands,[6] with more than three million albums sold worldwide. To date, Social Distortion has released seven full-length studio albums, two compilations, one live album, and two DVDs.

BadLuck pays tribute to the godfathers of punk rock, Social Distortion. BadLuck's singer/bassist Chris Farah (member of Off Center & Must) masterfully matches the sound and attitude of Social Distortions front man Mike Ness. Don Lee Carrier and Mike Ayres (Off Center, Must) rock their picks with slick licks on rhythm and lead guitar. Adam Vetter (The Readys, Mad City, Off Center, Must) is on the drums delivering heart-pounding beats to keep all you folks dancing on your feet. And to sweeten the deal - some sassy backup vocals from Cailyn Fitzgerald (Beaver Slap, Lint Collective, MC) and Rebecca Strain (BexSoulier, The Jive). If you're looking for your fix of blues-fueled punk tunes, check them out. You will not be disappointed!!
