Join Downward Dog studio owner, Ron Reid in his signature intensive where he explores pranayama, both as a stand-alone practice and as a powerful addition to asana self-practice. In addition to developing a greater understanding of bandha, drishti and ujjayi pranayama, we will uncover the benefits of a daily pranayama self-practice: increasing stamina through breath awareness, clarity and internal focus, ultimately leading to a state of meditation.

Mysore self-practice provides each student with the opportunity to advance their practice by deepening their understanding of the body's inner intelligence. By expanding our breath awareness we can enhance the myriad of benefits that asana practice yields.

This course may be used as an Elective credit towards the Downward Dog RYS 300hr Advanced Teacher Training.
