SYNOPSIS: April 18 is Pay Equity Day. Five themes will be discussed at our session. Our themes cut across policy insights from the Pay Equity Commission and research on prosperity from the Institute of Competitiveness & Prosperity. Our themes are: the gender wage gap, childcare, parental leave (maternity and paternity), education and skills development and business norms and practices.
