On Wednesday, May 18, Gilbert Dekoker and Alliance française de Toronto invite you to a lecture dedicated on French commercial aviation.

Born in Brussels and raised by the Jesuits between Belgium and Congo, Gilbert Dekoker speaks French, Flemish, English, Spanish and even Swahili. Fascinated by aviation, he begins to work for Air France in 1962 to make there a career of thirty four years in diverse executive positions in Africa and in Canada. At the end of 2001, he creates his own company of consulting in aviation and tourism "CATCH" and becomes Regional Manager of the Operations at the international Lester B. Pearson airport of Toronto following the events of September 11, 2001. In July, 2002, he is decorated Chevalier de l’Ordre National du Mérite by Minister of Foreign Affairs of France.

The lecture will take place in French.
