Spur of the Moment Shakespeare Collective says
You are cordially invited to the Language for Love Gala, hosted by Spur-of-the-Moment Shakespeare Collective, to benefit their annual project, Shakespeare-in-Hospitals, which has been touring the Greater Toronto Area since October.

The project that is exactly what it sounds like. For the last five years we create new shows, using Shakespeare’s words, designed specifically to bring to patients in hospitals across the GTA, like Mount Sinai, Sunnybrooke and CAMH and more. And best of all, we provide this service absolutely free of charge to the hospitals.
Our theme this year has been “finding a common language”, as we’ve crafted a beautiful new story using pieces of the Bard’s work and we would love to share it with you. Join us at The Citadel Theatre for an evening of experiencing the healing uses of art, culture, and dressing up. You have two nights to choose from: Thursday, and once on Friday, each with just as much glam as the last.

We begin at 7pm with a cocktail hour, complete with a red carpet, followed by our pre-show at 8pm, performance at 8:30pm and reception afterwards including refreshments and free popcorn. Meet and mingle with the performers we’re so proud of!

Tickets:
This is a ticketed event. Purchase via BPT or at the door, cash only. Regular: $20, Arts Worker/Student: $15.
