We're taking a little break from all of the gore and guts that comes with October viewings to watch this Mel Brooks comedy classic! Doors open at 6:30PM for trailers, shorts and live stand up! Film starts at 7:30PM!

Gene Wilder stars as Dr. Frederick Frankenstein (Now, that's pronounced "Frank-en-shteen", not "Frankenstein"), a respected medical lecturer who has recently inherited his insane grandfather's castle in Transylvania. Dr. Frankenstein fancies himself as a resourceful man of science and reason, but something powerful overtakes him as he roams the castle walls with his assistant Igor (Marty Feldman). He finds himself trapped by his own destiny to become a mad scientist like his grandfather, and explores the idea of reanimating dead flesh.

Young Frankenstein is a timelessly hilarious film that only gets funnier with repeated viewings, because it is so wall-to-wall stacked with jokes to appeal to any viewer. Often referenced as Mel Brooks' most cohesive work (next to The Producers), there is something for everyone in this movie, whether it be clever little pop culture references, slapstick humour, or straight up bawdy jokes about ample bosoms. Seriously, do not miss the chance to see Gene Wilder yell about sex and death on a big screen!
