Experience artist-led performances and activations taking place within the AGO's new installation "Song Dong's Communal Courtyard." During three-week residencies, Toronto-based artists will transform the installation in new and intimate ways. All performances are free with admission – just arrive early to ensure a spot!

May 18 – June 4: Artists Eventual Ashes with Red Slam Collective present Long (Dragon) House, an immersive performance told through music, dance, hip-hop, art and story.

Wednesdays (May 18, 25, June 1) 6 – 8 pm
Thursdays (May 19, 26, June 2) 2 – 4 pm
Fridays (May 20, 27, June 3) 6 – 8 pm
Saturdays (May 21, 28, June 4) 2 – 4 pm

Long (Dragon) House is a creative collaboration between Gein Wong of Eventual Ashes and Red Slam Collective's featured artists Mahlikah Awe:ri, Classic Roots and SkratchWon. Eventual Ashes creates performance experiences that empower communities and open imaginations. They uplift interdisciplinary work from Indigenous, Black and People of Colour, Two Spirited and Queer folks. Red Slam Collective, is an indigenous hip hop fusion arts movement formed in 2009 and based in Toronto; whose 4Directions Urban Arts engagement and musical projects uplift, self-identify and promote unity through Spoken, Lyricism which Arranges Meaning (SLAM).
